Rain Forest Walks

March 16th, 2008 by keoni

There’s a little 4 acre rain forest in Volcano, surrounding the Volcano Art Center. This little patch of paradise is called Niaulani and it has an interpretive trail running through it for you to enjoy. It is much smaller and perhaps a little less daunting than the vast forests in Volcanoes National Park.

There is a free guided walk every Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, or you can head out on your own on weekdays between 8 AM and 4:30 PM. You can get a printed trail guide at the Volcano Art Center office. Call to reserve your spot on the guided tour at 808-967-8222.
